If you have the determination and desire, I can show you how to pick up extra money by spending a little time on the internet. There are many ways to earn income on the internet. Some take just a few minutes and earn a few cents, and some can take hours and earn you dollars.

Since it is better to be safe than sorry, take a couple of minutes to look at the scambusters website. I do not get anything for you to go to this site, but it is a very informative site for scams and such.

A couple of methods for earning extra money are PTC (paid to click) or PTR (paid to read) sites. On a ptc site there is a list of ads which you click on and spend about 30 seconds on that page before you go to the next ad. On a ptr site, you receive emails which you click on then click a button which confirms that you opened that email.

Mylot is a social networking though not the type that myspace is where you meet people from all over the world. Its a site where you earn money by responding to discussions. These discussions are based upon your interest and you choose which ones that you respond to.
You also get the chance to meet people from all over the world on mylot. I have friends from about 6 or 7 different countries on my friends list. I really like this site because it gives you the chance to talk about things that interest you.

The one thing that would make the difference between making money and making the money that you want is referrals. On pretty much all sites where you can earn money, referrals will increase the money that you earn. On some sites, it would double the money that you earn. If you are like me and don't know a lot of people that could be a problem. I choose getref as one of my sources of referrals. Why? Because getref allows you decide where you would like those referrals to come from.

If you're a writer, there are ways for you to earn money with your talents as well.
Reviewstream is one site I use to earn money. With Reviewstream, you write reviews on products of your choosing and you get paid for it. You can either earn 2.00 for a review or .40 cents. If your review has the content desired by Reviewstream, then they will pay you 2.00. If it is not quite what they are looking for but may still be useful to readers, then they will pay you .40 cents.
